    he was trying to change the download path of the launcher from c to d. i am guessing his old client was copied or saved in a different drive (D:\). that can still be fixed. it is just the launcher.

    If you want to change the NC Launcher's install pathing, you'll need to close the NC Launcher and AION. Having the Launcher opened and trying to edit the notepad will display error messages.
    Try to close your NC launcher completely, including the "NC Updater Helper". Check your notification icons and under your task manager. Afterwards then reopen the launcher and let it update/download the game.
