I've been meaning to play Black Desert Online for a while now and while reading up about it i came across gamez. I'd really love to be able to download and play right away, but i have a limitation. My internet has a daily cap of 5gb/day , it's mobile internet and also my only choice since broadband service here is terrible. Last night I downloaded the client .zip and ran the client after specifying the path. I had to shut my pc off today so I closed the client, where i got the warning. I hoped that was just a precaution. Turns out on the next startup the client couldnt find the "Paz" folder that was the game's download progress so far (16%). Now speedwise 2Mbps download speed works just fine for me, but i have a data cap which just slows down to a crawl after my 5gb is up. Is there any alternative way to download the entire game? Like a torrent or so? Because I need the pause and resume feature to download a game that massive, and judging by the progress it would take me 7 days of PC uptime in order to dl the game without ever closing the client.

im not sure abou this but the retail launcher should have some pause think ... and if not it dosnt matter cause it dosnt have any paths parameters or somethink ... u install the launcer and then let the launcher download full game , THEN you switch to GameZ launcher and set the path to the original game ... it will download some data but it should be minimum compared to full game ... but it will be "patching" longer cause it will have to downgrade the original game to GameZ version

if you dont have the retail game, it costs only like 10 USD ... when it comes to steam vs client im not sure how well GameZ runs on steam, i have it on client version .... but on steam it should be just about disabling updates

hope somethink of this will help

    EDIT
there should be somewhere TORENT link for updates and in torent you can pause, limit, etc .... that could help even more ... so geting GameZ client and then downloading the TORENT update files , where you can controll what you want and then just move the files into the game directory
just ask around or some GM could link it here , i dont remember wherew the Torent link is ...
rly the TORENT link should be more accesible maybe on the website with download or somethink @Kolka i think that would be reasonable than just downloading with launcher and better for many people ... so to the website wit the "how to connect" there should be link to torent files also
