Need help!

Hello Guys!

Im having ping problem. my normal ping before was 300-350ms with ping reducer, w/out ping reducer is 400-800ms.

im desperate to lower my ping and i changed something on the registry.

but the result doubled my ping.
now im confused on what changes i made cause i also used NIMAKIN, which i discovered that it changes something on the registry under tcpip while it is on. now i deleted some of the keys without backing up the files and i dont even have system restore.

im searching on the internet on how to fix it but the only option they have is system restore.
i used auslogics to fix registry but it do not turn my original settings.

if you know some programs that can fix my problem, please help me! THANKS

 

When was the last time you restarted your router?

 

this is why you just don't toy around with the registry. depending on your operating system, there might be an option in it to do a legit system restore (not handled by external programs). Windows 7 has this in some cases while booting up, might be F8 or F12 or one of those buttons depending on your computer. It should have an option to run diagnostics or "repair operating system", something along those lines. You'll recognize the screen since it will give you options to boot in Safe Mode, etc. etc.

If you don't have any sort of option to do something such as that, then find out what operating system you have (exactly which one, down to the architecture [32-bit or 64-bit] and the version [Professional, Home Premium, etc]), and get an installation disc for it. It should offer to repair the operating system entirely.

Do not rely on non-OS programs to do delicate things like registry fixing (emphasis on "fixing", since there are programs that can clean up or defragment the registry but they don't fix any errors you might have caused while dangling around with the wires).

Restart your router. Do the things I PMed you about.

Also, depending on where you live, your Ping is going to be naturally high for this server.

Adjusting your registry is a risky job. Especially if you do not know what you are doing as you can obviously make things worst.
