Need your opinions - Fate

Fate is like an on-off switch. You can choose to believe it as fate or you can choose it as merely coincidence and/or bad karma.

In your situation, Cakebaker. I think its just merely bad karma being handed to the wrong person. There is that saying " What can't hurt us, can only make us stronger." You cant always choose your future, but you can prepare yourself for the worst possible outcome. Also I believe that constant negativity also affects how certain events play out in a person life. This is where I tend to get myself in trouble a lot, cause i always tend to see the good in people, whereas my husband does not.

 

I don't believe in fate as a force. Sometimes things get out of your own control. That's not fate; that's just life. No one is fully in charge of what happens.

 

I 100 percent believe that everything that happens to you happens for a reason. My personal beliefs are that we must learn life lessons in this life in order to move on in the afterlife. I also believe that what energy you put out is the energy you get back so if you are continuously putting negative energy out it will come back on you and the same for positive.

 

I don't know if I was going to say I believe what happens is because of bad karma. I just feel like sometimes, even the things that are out of my control, I tend to feel responsible for them. And it seems to me, like anytime I dig myself out of the hole and look at the world in a positive manner, stuff happens that just knocks me back down. IDK, like I said, I still have most of my life ahead of me, maybe I'm just overanalyzing whats been happening.

You can also take a hard look at these situations and results of them to see what steps you took that lead to the outcome they did. In the future maybe try a different approach and see if it is working better for you.

 

I believe you have a fate if you dnt try hard enough, but you make your own fate if you do.
If you do try no matter you make your own fate.
If you don't, youre giving into fate that you didnt make.

 

Agree with what ash said. The more positive you are, the more positive the outlook of things will be. Don't always expect something to happen in your favor. Keep your mind open for possibilities of what can be the worst. Don't be so quick to act on certain things too. If you can take some time to think. Do it. No ones gonna look at you weird for needing time to think.

 

idk, the stuffs personal so I wont go into it, but I find it hard to look at the positive side of things. Sure, I learned life lessons, but those are, in my opinion, often not worth the price. And I made mistakes, but like the point of this thread is, it seems like certain stuff happens that is out of my control that just seems to amplify those mistakes. Tends to be that only after the stuff happens, I think it through, analyze it, and wish I could rewind the clock.

 

Usually many things aren't worth the price, but we learn to cope with it, cause that very same lesson later on in your life, will turn into something priceless.

 

This happens to everyone. Only thing you can do is learn from it and move on. Apologize if you can and make things right as well as how understanding/flexible one can be to accept the apology. I dont know the situation, but just throwing out what I can.

So in few words wat I believe: There is no fate with the meaning most people know it but it's our choices in our lifes that lead us somewhere we usually don't expect or don't know and then we call it 'fate'.

All those who are fighting for their life and making their own choices based on their own powers, then the life they are living is a path which they are making by themselves and this is what you can call 'fate'.

 

I see. Anyways, sometimes its too late to apologize. In other cases, its impossible. And sometimes, things happen that I simply can't apologize for. And when I manage to move on, start becoming positive and more carefree, stuff always happens to push me back down. Maybe its just coincidence. I guess I just have to try and get through it.

Fate is simply a human concept. There is NO fate, its all numbers and variables. This world is far too random for there to be fate involved, there's too many variables that change your "destiny". The end is not determined, nor is it determinable because there's simply too much that needs to be accounted for in order to determine said end.

You live in this world, which will almost always try and tear you down. What you make of it is up to you, not some false silly concept created by the human mind.

 

Whatever you think you're fated for is probably always subconscious, and you only realize it when you're feeling down, or worthless. From what I gather that's probably your case. Your life, your experiences is what forges your path. Fate has nothing to do with it.

The only fate that is true for everyone is death. Nothing else.

 

Good point. Thats what I'm chalking my thoughts up to. I think I wanted to believe in fate because it took some of the blame off of me, and it made me feel a little better knowing that this is just what I "deserved" or what the end result was. But now that I think about it rationally, I realize its silly. Believing that this is my fate will probably just box me into it.

 

Whatever it is, there's physiological issues involved with you, and possibly emotional abuse/trauma. If you feel that stronger about it, you should probably seek professional help.
