Negative Karma

    Everybody is crying about high lvl and high geared pvpler. I played on offi ru. They have a good solution for it. When you in negative karma and get killed your equipment will fall down. For example: You have a +19 kzarka and has negative karma (red player) get killed by an other player or townguard and it will fall down to +18 or lower.
    In RU offi are nearly no pvp player in negative karma. Everybody is scared of losing his equip.
    I posted a part of a screenshot (from this server). It is written down there. A Player with low karma get killed will decreased his equipment.

    On NA/EU servers, which Gamez uses as base, There is no gear downgrade past +15. everything up to 15 can degrade. 16-20 or PRI-PEN does not downgrade! Nor should it. High chance on losing expensive crystals/losing XP is enough.
    On games it would be a very very bad idea to have crystals break. The playerbase is not enough to supply the market with high value crystals that are not that easy to obtain.
    "Awakened Black Spirit Crystal" is not easy to get. unless you can spam characters to do questlines. That punishment just to kill 2 ppl and get killed is in no relation to what the person who got killed gets.
    You die, you lose absolutely nothing.
    In my opinion the Karma system is fine as it is on gamez atm. You need to look at what is good for gamez. You cant just strictly look at official servers. There are a few systems that needs to get adjusted to work right for gamez, at least if you ask me or some others I use to talk to.
    Market prices etc is one of those things. 100% official server with higher rates isnt working. Things need to get adjusted.

    But yea. Not even on official does PRI(16)+ gear degrade. Not even when dying on -1m karma.

    On the ru offi it does. I tested it, i had a +18 weapon and was in negative karma. After i get killed sometimes is was +13.
    Losing EXP is meaningless here with this rates. In RU are enough player but the crystal are sold out.
    To be a red player should be bad and you should get punished hard for it. When you are not fast and strong enough to protect your spot than go away or call for help.
    On the moment state, noone fears negative karma, the are even afk over the night with the red char. That is not normal.
    Remove karma system when it stays like this, because it is meaningless like this.
    About the rates, make it higher from working (cut trees, mining)

    never had a single 16+ item degrade. +15 is max an item can degrade on on -karma death. At least on EU/NA.

    You deleveld a weapon from TRI to +13? :thinking:

    Oh, yeah...it makes karma system more interesting and not more so senseless...but better is to loose for killing only 60k karma..and karma go better high for killing mobs...so no more...idio... what killing lowbobs for fun by bosses...it will be solved many problems and i can go hunted red players......ha..ha..ha...

    Please read correctly. I said on RU (russian) server. It is better than NA/EU in my opinion. No senseless pvp (red player) and more guild wars. A good thing for all guildless people and pve players. Pvp is not disabled there, but you must think before you attack someone, it could end bad for you.
    Btw, where is the sense of not falling down of a +16 or higher? The high players are the one who hunt players not the low ones, so the high ones should be punished.

    because the hassle when degrading for example a tet is insane. Only because you killed 1 guy that very likely started to grief you in the first place.
    If you have those items degrade. Many people wouldnt play. Especially when certain classes and mechanics are still broken.
    With my giant I can literally kill you in 3 seconds. regardless if you had 400+DP or not since those skill do bypass all DP. As an example. Or CC still is spammable with Superarmor cc immunity not getting triggered.

    I know it. I play giant too. But it would stop senseless pvp. But you are right, this is still many things to fix. (open beta after all)
    Many people dont play because the cant farm anywhere. Look at the bosses. ONE high geared player comes there and kill everyone above lvl49. And you cant do anything against it. That is the better reason to stop playing than the downgrade.
    Btw. its fu...ing easy to tet everything.
