    its not black... its same color as all armor... color change only white parts.

    The silver parts of the armor (such as the lions head and other decorations) are not dyable, they always stay silver/gold, whatever the color is. However, any other parts of the armor with a color such as the black part of the shoulderplate you mentioned are completely dyable.

    Oh yeah I forgot plate fully dyes, thats probably why I never liked the plate set xD

    But the silver on the rest of the sets doesn't dye.
