Nerf Shadowburst/Lightburst, or I quit

sorc nerfed?

To be honest I really don't care what they do with these skills because as soon as these skills are nerfed/fixed or whatever. People will find something else to complain about. It's like some people around here wont be happy until each class has only one skill with a one hour cool down.

 

Lol pretty much, I already have people jammed up my ass about the most random of things about my class.

the only nerf that the sorc get was a fix w/ the cast speed cap.

if they get killed with a certain class all the time, they QQ.

I'm not going to lie these skills are damn annoying, I can't even remember how many times I've fully buffed up with scrolls, food, skills to go pvp only to get one shot for 15k from one skill and it makes me think why even bother but I don't QQ I just get on with it.

 

Yeah, I'm not ABG though, but a lot of my skills do under 1k damage. Final Strike, SPC, SS, and PC are the only skills that ever crit over 2k.

Second wind doesn't take me over 14k HP, which is what I usually get hit for.

Also, I love how you say its nerfed when it still one-shots people. It's like taking Wrath of Developer's damage from 5 million to 50k. It's a useless nerf if it still one-shots everything.

I did it with ground PvP, I can do it now! ^^

If SB/LB did under 4k damage, don't you think it would encourage some players to play with skill instead of waiting on their cooldown to end?

I wouldn't imagine too many people would complain, since THERE'S NO OTHER ****ING SKILL THAT DOES OVER 18K DAMAGE!

 

the way the ts worded it, is it about the skill or how a player uses the skill?
to me these skills are emergency skills-last resort so to speak, due to their cd it's not meant to be spammable.

it doesn't matter if they nerf it, i'm not going to lie i'd be bit disappointed but i'm still going to play sorc. but note if there are 2 or more sorcs in a zerg/group and uses the nerfed sb you're still gonna die anyway.

i die a lot and i kill a lot, for me it's part of pvp. ap is useless anyway. i get feared, ambushed, bp'd, bursted by maus even when i'm fighting another player. i don't complain. i died? i ress, buff again and off to another fight.

being frustrated with a game and threatening to quit, maybe you do need to take a break. its supposed to be relaxing and enjoyable. if it stops being fun, what's the point of it right?

LOLOLOLOL, BP is retail-like, the devs and HGMs know this already, so any attempt to nerf BP will be futile.

I do have a question though, which would you rather die by, someone who happily shadowburst's/lightbursts you on their merrily little way, or someone who honestly beat you due to pure skill?

 

yea shadowburst/lightburst is op but sorcs will still be able to 2 shot you. inferno + glaciar shard = dead. want some future on the server? want accualy retail like mid-high server and finnaly want accauly for players to be happy on the server? P U T S T I G M A S O N S I E L T O L U M I E L I S U N N E C E S S A R Y! -.-

and my sorc did like 14k max with LB and it was crit

 

Crit Spell not Work.

Sorcer with 150 critical can critical someone with 150 critical spell resist

i prefer to die with skill as anyone has, however sometimes we don't have a choice though and something inherent to the game itself. it's open world pvp, i's not like an arena where a fair fight can be guaranteed.

lets say you're fighting someone, you've won, you're on 1/10 health, your skills on cd, then some asmo strolled along and killed you 1 hit. i look at it from that angle. i also give the enemy that benefit, if i killed him , he could have been just come out from another fight and wasn't able to uitlize all his skills.

i guess you look at it from a different perspective and i respect that. anyway, good luck and hope you rediscover your enjoyment for the game
