That server has been merged like 3 separate times, and it normally was maintained as the highest populated server. They had a ton of servers in the beginning, but the population slowly dropped off so they did a server merge; Triniel + some other server made Zikel. A bunch of free transfers went up when they merged, and then the servers got extremely biased towards races, elyos dominating the largest server Zikel, similar numbers on the other servers with one exception of Siel which basically had all the asmos left on the game. Then again when 3.0 got released they merged Zikel and Vaizel into Tiamat and released Kahrun as a new server for new players.

Tiamat has a lot of the old players and history. The PvP there can get extremely shitty unfortunately. Some pros are realizing that and xfering to Kahrun so they can slam noobs into the ground.

Shing is geared and usually reliable for learning a thing or two about a sorc, but I think there are many more EU/RU/KR sorc players that have exceeded him in skill level. The problem is he gets way too much attention than he should, causing people to "hate" on him. It kinda sucks because the dudes actually pretty damn good and can wreck a majority of people who play this game, just controversy has buried him. Still gotta love the editing.

yea it would be nice to see the "top players" all in one tournament to see who actually is "the best"

 

Common misconceived idea, that wouldn't do anything.

Aion's extreme endgame pvp (2 pro's) is usually RNG based. If two glads go at eachother, usually the one who will land the more stumbles/aether holds wins.

1. 1v1 only means something for some classes, plus some classes cancel out others. Different people are really good at different things. Someone who can do a flawless 1v1 on someone might waste all their skills on one person in a 3v1. Some people are amazing at group PvP and know how to support another player to the absolute extent. Others can only do solo pvp and end up not assisting the group as much. You just gotta accept that there are multiple people that are "the best" and to stop ascribing other peoples skill to compare another's.

It's like saying who is the smartest economist? They all have pretty damn good theories, some similar, some far different; there are just so many variables to count in that all we can say is that they are pro.

It's been going pretty well, I found myself sweating my ass off yesterday when I got invited into a car to hotbox a blunt. I wasn't the only one with this conclusion so it appeared; the beautiful girl with the rack next to me suggested we all take our shirts off. Happy freakin' cinco de mayo!

Everyone can play their class wildly different, but in 1v1s it's pretty straightforward what you gotta do. I say it is the least deeming part of PvP, with the least amount of skill, longest downtime and the highest amount of RNG (Random Number Generation for those googlers out there).

Thanks, not sure which vid though xD. I've gotten all my film for Gamez and another certain PvP server, but my PC won't render it properly. I have 2 separate people doing my videos, both of them still in the busy work state. The concept maps for both of them have been laid out, and both of the editors are pretty excited about the content. Haven't played Aion in a couple weeks, but the work and time on these vids keeps me around.
