Well I like that you ask in this forum simply because I myself like a good and helpful community, so to answer your question there is some very simple ways to increase the amount of money you can "gather" during your active gameplaying. After a lot of searching I found this link which can be helpful: https://www.reddit.com/r/blackdesertonline/comments/4ei0de/highest_grossing_turn_in_items/
However it basically depends on how you want to play and where your Character is "farming items" the good thing is that in Mediah there are several places for high income of the General Items which can be exchanged for high silver income, in the item description at the bottom you can see if they are exchangeable or not the ones that are are worth about 2 times as much when they are exchanged instead of just sold, to find out where you have to go to exchange them all you have to do is Right Click the item stack and choose "...NPC" link that will give you a auto-move trail to the NPC that exchanges them sometimes there is more than one NPC that does but just take the one closest to you.
I really hope this helps you out and good luck out there :)

    Alright, first things first.

Lifeskills are meant to be used as material income. You will hardly find ways to make good money with them, due to trading being disabled for now. Reason for not selling materials you obtain are the hidden values of the resources, meaning that many materials are worth more than what you sell them for and are therefore meant for personal and guild use. Exceptions are training and gathering.

    Gathering:
What makes you the money here are the rare drops. Sharp-/Hard Crystals, Deep blue hoof root, etc. Those are items worth more than 500.000 silver a piece and will stack up with just a few gathering runs of any kind. Cut trees, mine rocks, search bushes. Anything will have a chance to give you the big money. I recommend, look for a gathering spot with a high density of gathering possibilities. Sheep mountain, fir trees next to Western Guard Camp etc. In the best case, you obtain items you need for crafting, brewing or alchemy.

    Training:
This is a huge topic of itself. TLDR: Breed lv 30 T7 horses with lv 30 T8. Sell the ones without any breeds left to the imperial market. Profit.
Be smart with your options. Sometimes it's better to exchange nobreeders for a female horse. Sometimes it's better to sell them on the playermarket. Some are worth putting on the breeding market (I'm joking. They never are). Be smart with the options given.

    Grinding:
There are many spots with each having independent drops from the enemys you defeat. Check your AP and have a look for the possibilities on the map. In many cases it is best to find a spot which contains enemys of the highest level you can kill quickly and are available in numbers with a high density. As @loboram already said, there is the trade item each drop. They are junk which the merchants buy for a decent amount, yet can be traded at special nodes for much more. What you are also looking for are blackstones of any kind and special rare drops like Serap's Necklace. Those will also count towards your Silver/h due to the high droprate on the server.

Since you are new I would recommend selling all of the items you find and buy basic gear of the market. Enchanting can be frustrating as a new player and is completely unnecessary until you obtain bossgear pieces. The standart sets give you a great value/stat ratio when bought off the market. Doing the questline "King of the Arena" is also an amazing start for new players. But everyone got it's own approach.
