[Newcomer] Issues gearing up.

I'm not hiding the fact i cannot donate atm to get my Sorc geared up.
I have hard-times getting literally ANY good gear.

As for newbie, i find it extremly difficult to get my hands on any set i could use as main for now, instead i still run in Chimerical cloths.

Please advise how can i get some gear to start off with, because i'm pretty much stuck with all those "bugs":

- Really few people doing any Instances
- Tahabata is bugged (i've been told so)
- Stormwing is bugged (i've been told so)
- I did ~11 runs of UT/LUT/BT with result of only hairpin and SW gloves
- Tried to get Pacification Cloth set, but after 3 days of grind at Inggison all i got was tons of PAcification skirts, so seems it's bugged as well
- I've tried to get Master Carved items (Alchemy 531 atm) but it seems i cannot complete that due to fact the Siege is broken and there is no way of obtaining other 2 colors of carved pieces

Please advise, i'm kind of out of ideas :s

 

Go to market, sell crap for good stuff+add, everyones doing it.

 

Tbh I had to run like 50 Theolab runs to get a Triroan Dagger, but that's on retail.
Also, you're totally right, Gamez is enjoyable for donators at the current state of it, newcomers can barely enjoy shit here, since most of the decent drops are taken out...

 

What server are you on?
Are you in an active Legion who can run instances with you?
(If you need a Legion just apply to one, most are very active)

If you can't find anyone to group with, why not try finding out what people want to trade sets for (Price and Items differ between servers) but most times people don't want to grind for the items so they just trade with people who have.

Maybe look at the Crucible stuff, i'm not sure what the going rate is for Crucible bought gear/weapons/clothes but it might get you something.

Well, i have no items for trade off (Chimerical Set is 14days set).

As for cruicible, i was about to start farming it, but i've been told by Junior AM (not sure tho, was like 5days ago) that Cruicible Insignia NPC's are broken, and even if i farm those 2milion Insignias i won't be able to get a thing out of them.

I do have a Legion, active one even. But i am from EU and they are US legion... Might sound silly but i got kinda attached to them >.>

Also, i am playing at Lumiel.
