quite honestly would suggest to ask for donations to help sue her, I'd happily put a few bucks in lmao (yes, I'm absolutely serious LOL), there's pages that can be used to raise "funds" and whatnot, might be worth the trouble xD

OOOk. Now then. Since you can't see that HDD in your system, it means the invormation written on the 0 sector is missing, probably together with the whole Master File Table where the file system stores data bout file whereabouts & etc. What you'll need to fix that, IF it's fixable, is download from the net HIREN's Boot CD, burn the ISO on a CD and power down your machine. For safety purposes unplug the sata cable from your own hdd, since you're not needing it. After that turn on the machine and start hiren's boot cd in DOS mode. There will be menus with programs there, so what's needed from you is to scope up for MHDD - a program witch you can use to fix the zero sector and MFT. Google "fixing MFT with MHDD"/"Fixing zero track with MHDD" for tutorial. Now with these two done, the HDD should appear at least as blank in your windows. What's left is to use some program like Pandora recovery or something, etc... your pick xD If MHDD can't see your HDD I have reeeealy bad news for you - it's gonna be very expensive to restore the info - taking the HDD to specialist that'll open it up, take the spindel with the magnet disks and mount them on a station with witch he'll extract the info @ bit level. Just pray that girlfriend wasn't smart enough to use some drive scrubber
