Not Getting “[Special Aid] Fughar’s Letter“ Quest for Narchillian Gear

After reading the post on the other thread for this ("Can't Get Naru Gear") I believe I meet all the requirements to get this quest from the BlackSpirit. However, it is simply not showing up. Before My previous post I had read Grumpy's guide to this and saw that I either had to be level 50 and have completed the Calpheon quest line, or simply be level 56. I am level 61 and when I talk to the black spirit, this quest does not show up anywhere. Also according to the Grumpy guide linked it states that it is in Event quests. Not only do I not have this quest, but I don't have any quests from the blackspirit in Events. With that said I did look through all the other lists and thought it could be under suggestions instead but I am not seeing it anywhere. Also I have all quests enabled. Apologies for posting again (couldn't post to the original thread I jumped o as it is now closed), but I don't have this quest at all either in my log currently or being offered by the black spirit. Any idea how I can go about getting this quest?

So just checked on my previous season graduate, and the quest is there. Since the quest wants Naru gear I had assumed (and also thought I read from the guide) that you do this on a Season character. If I am correct than Maybe I can accept the quest on my Lahn (Previous Season Character) and complete it with the Naru gear with my current Season (Corsair). Can this be confirmed if it is the way to do it? Or am I not understanding the quest. Thanks.

 

Answered my own question, so hopefully this helps anyone else that may have been confused. I had read one guide that said this was on a season and not a season character. It turns out if you read the Grumpy's guide you cannot use this gear on a season character. So either I wait till I graduate my current character and then do the naru gear to pen and trade it in for Narchillian, Grind a lowlevel new non-season character for Beginner black stones, or convert from Blackstones by heating. Once you have Naru Pen gear with a non-season character you can then trade it in.
It is unfortunate that I thought I no longer needed the beginner black stones (had close to 3000) on my Lahn from last season as I destroyed them (they are bound and cannot be shared). Although I may have sold them, dunno, dont remember for sure. Oh Well.

TLDR: I falsely thought that you did this trade in with a season character, I also thought Naru and Beginner blackstones were only a seasonal thing. Turns out neither was true.

Currently converting just enough stones to get a few pieces of armor, and then may wait on more till I graduate my current season character since I have a 2500 surplus of beginner black stones.
