No we are still on 2.0.0.5 for now.I just updated my bin32 links.

I need help with the version.ini file. I can't save the file after opening in notepad and changing the numbers. When I try to save it, I get the message "Access is denied." I tried downloading the version.ini file you had provided earlier on, like, page 3 or something... but it said that it was removed.

ummm added you on MSN. I am using my crappy computer don't ask why but I am trying to get AION to work on it, I got it to 2.1 (that's a No no....) and then tried your Guide. I was able to do everything on the list but the thing is, when I download the bin32 file, It says, according to your guide, it is suppose to be a Extractable folder. Mine comes out as an Unknown File. Ill post a pic in a few minutes.

Here is my Setup, Deleted bin32 folder and added the new file, notice when I downloaded it, it didn't download as a folder but as an unknown application.

@ Soldi3runit Download and install WinRar and extract the folder in you Aion main folder.

 

ok the file is working, but now I get this instead.



Then when I click "OK" or the Exit button it goes to this after a few secs.

XRender seems to be something with,DirectX

Install the latest DirectX and update your drivers

 

latest Drrectx for XP is 9 right?

hmmm thought that was for Windows 7 cause that is what I got on my laptop... currently I am running Direct x 9.0 according to my DXDIAG.

Stick with 2.0

 

I updated my Directx to 9,0 which is the max for XP. What else since I am getting the same problems.

I dont know if it has something to do with the system's SP or not,but try replacing your current XRenderD3D9.dll with this one

Hi, I don't seem to have an Aion main folder o.o.. and if I do I can't find it =.=... I do have the NCsoft Launch though.

 

That is kinda impossible if you installed Aion.Usually is in this partition C:\Program Files\NCsoft\Aion.
