alll flying bug abusers should be resulted in baned IP and all the IP adress withing 50miles from it. )

 

May aswell lift all the bans tbh since the ones done earlier ive already seen 6-7 of them back doing what they know best hacking and now ive actually given up caring.

I have a better idea ip ban all the legit players and everything will be ok.

 

due to the new policy, there will probably be a huge influx of hackers for a while since they can all remake accounts now. Some may change their ways, others may not. either way, any punishment above jailing people for this bug is stupid. why not fix/remove the damn thing if you are willing to ban over it.

 

anyway that was my opinion regarding the newbies..but if a fly abuser get caught 1 time and he is jailed for abusing of a bug(thing that is not allowed on the server) i think that the 2nd time should be a permanent ban cauz he already was punished and adverted..

 

Sry to tell you this but : once a hacker always a hacker nothing you or I can do about it.

 

I'm not sure if they can fix it... Carl promised that it would be fixed with the next update but as you all can see...

Why don't they just fix this? :S Not like it's hard...

Just remove/change the "fly="true"" part to "fly="false"" <.< Or if that don't work just remove it lol.

they know about that but they don't know how to enable the barrier..but there is a little patch on AL too that closes your wings when move from a free fly zone to a nn free fly one..

 

Aaaah, never thought of the barrier lol... It was off my mind until you mentioned it now... Lol... On the other hand if it's the barrier then it shouldn't be possible for Elyos to fly in Bel n vice versa anyway <.< Sure Elyos from Heiron fortress n Asmo from Bel fortress that is understandable then.

no no..there is a barrier that block every player asmo/ely..it keep knocking you back and you can pass and then says "You can not fly in this area" and in belu/heiron free-fly="false" is already enabled..if u want to see on gamez how the barrier works just open the system.ovr and change g_freefly="1" to g_freefly="0" then go to belu/heiron and try to fly out of the fortress..the barrier will work but u can't free fly in the free fly zones neither..

because u can't change just the system.ovr to "0" cauz the players couldn't fly in free fly zones neither..and anyway the players would change it back to "1"..anyway i fixed this bug but sadly i'm not a dev on gamez..nastus is..

 

Rofl this rules makes no sense, a slap on the wrist 5 times before you get banned isnt going to matter they'll stop doing it on their 4th time.

They are purposely abusing a bug they know what their doing and know it is illegal why the hell are they so lenient on them?

 

i agree with ciufpuf when he says ip ban and stuff are kinda insane, even tho i'm tired of being attacked by fly abusers all the time...
i think other punishments should be used, such as ap erasing and even more time in jail.

edit - i do not think ip banning is the best option in 'early abuses', let's say, like the 1st, 2nd, 3rd time... i do think cronic abusers should be banned, but i'd say there is a better way to prevent things coming to this point... dunno, just my opinion.
