Not to rain on anyones parade, but being honest...

We lose brilliant human beings everyday. I think its hilarious how people mourn so heavily for deaths like Michael Jackson and even Steve Jobs. We don't mourn for firefighters who lose their lives, soldiers on the front lines... I bet most of us don't even think of them. What about the people our soldiers are killing?

Overall I do mourn his death, but we are revolting at the same time. We mourn one mans death because a cliche "elitist" brand ... 'macbooks' 'iphones', etc was his dedication to this world. A man who, at the same time, hardly made the technology accessible to the majority of people. I hate to say it but 1,000 for an "ultra-portable" isn't cheap. It's a goddamned rip in the chest.

So while anyone who reads this thinks that I don't respect him, which is FAR from the truth. I find it hilarious that Stanford would make some corny speech to him, one that their own GRADUATES, their DEANS and PROFESSORS don't even get.

 

We should have an Aegis event talking about the downfall of our society
