    I get this whenever I try logging in. My stuff seems up to date. But it continuously gives me this error. Should I redownload? https://i.gyazo.com/9f11a60569a042fb8fa06c7e6b30563a.png

    Update:
    I tried to reinstall the launcher but it keeps failing to install the necessary C++ components. How do I make the installation work?

    Not even sure at this point if it matters if I have these files. Since I never had them before.

    Go to Control Panel -> Programs and Features and uninstall Microsoft Visual C++ 2012 Redistributable Package (x64) and (x86).

    You can download it again through the launcher's installation, or through the following links:
    Microsoft Visual C++ 2012 Redistributable Package (x64)
    Microsoft Visual C++ 2012 Redistributable Package (x86)

    If the problem persists and the visual c++ keeps failing, download the .exe version of the launcher which doesn't require installation: Click to download

    I have done all of these things & it still gives me the same OS error provided in my screenshot.

    Turn off your antivirus and then launch the launcher.

    I turned off my malwarebytes completely & exited it. I also turned off windows defender. Still the same issue.
