Pallasite Ore and Oceanic events

So recently it was brought to staffs attention that one of the required items for a weapon upgrade isn't available in game. Subsequent to this they were added as an award to GM run events. While I am glad it has been added in a method that doesn't involve spending more credits, I would like to bring another issue to the staffs attention. As an oceanic player (probably one of the few) I am only able to play at a time when it would appear all of the staff are sleeping/working.

I have been playing actively on this server for roughly two years now and in the last 6 months I have spent about 30 hours a weekend and three hours a night playing here. In that time I have seen maybe three events take place two of which failed miserably. This does not fill me with much confidence in ever being able to obtain the last item I need for the upgrade (especially considering players attitudes to trading items) and would like to ask that the staff review the hours their gm's are available for such events and consider the oceanic players and maybe even have some scheduled events so we can plan to be online at the right time and have even a glimpse of a chance of upgrading our weapons.
