Im acutally Zeroing in on the problem now, untouched helped me by letting me DL InfiniteAion which proves that my client is ok, and both of you can ping gamezaion, and i cant this was 1st theory, which is probable now.. im only waiting for Carl to reply on my email..

maybe u have dynamic ip just try to reset the router ....

 

dont wait on carl, nothing he can do to your router/pc. Keep working with porting your own router to let gamez through it.

Edit: i think its the other way arround gamez is not letting me in..

AND THIS THREAD IS STILL OPEN im going to sleep now 4am here..

 

1st : can u try another internet connection? a old modem / phones 3g / 3g stick
2nd: reset your router maybe u have dynamic ip ..and after reset u will get another ip
3rd : open a webpage go to http://192.168.1.1 use admin/admin ( default) ...and check if u have any DMZ meznu ...if yes put your pc ip there ( open cmd and write ipconfig ...you will see your ip there ...must be something like 192.168.1.x)
4th: if u dont have a DMZ menu go to www.portforward.com find your router there and learn to forward ports ..u need to forward 2106,7777

Nah its not gamez not letting you in, its your router/pc software not letting gamez in. If you were banned you would get a different message entirely. Changing IP most likely wont solve your problem either, like smoke said check your router configs and/or PC firewall/antivirus configs.

Your best bet is have someone teamview/remote your PC and work on it them self if no one around you can do it in person. But you said your friend is network savant so he should be able to get this issue resolved i would assume.

 

Sigh, I don't know if this solution have been posted, but just format your computer, redownload the whole 10gb of aion file (yes fresh frikken aion file download) and apply the gamez patch again. Since this happened to me before and thats what I did, repairing file from ncsoft launcher never did jack shit for me.

PS: if youre willing to pay peeps 100 dollar im pretty sure you wouldnt mind to format your comp to play this game
