    No offense to Alente but I think Carl wont really trust anyone specially with regards to giving someone access to the server in which the server files will be vulnerable. A great example for this was the last server I moderated where in one of the owners trusted dev/GM who was given access has turned against him because of some misunderstanding and he eventually stole the server files and delete the database. I think this is what Carl preventing to happen. Its not that easy to trust specially when you havent meet the person in real life.

    P.S. I have to vote yes since its worth a try.

    no offence but is better if Carl give this command to a friend of him .. someone near him that he can trust .. not someone that is km away from him .... anyway +1for Alente:love:

    Good question but here's a counter question...

    Jokes aside I do agree with you Hitkill, there are many things to consider... Seen way to many people abuse the responsibility given to them mostly on a WoW server but same thing kinda.
    But no one can deny that another person able of restarting would be a good idea, most preferable someone who is active and online during the crashes.
    So yeah, in the end I gotta say that even tho I hope Carl will listen to the players now. It's all up to Carl and how much "power" he can entrust upon another person. Cause well even the simplest command can be abused...

    Edit: Damn I write way to slow lol already missed an entire page. XD

    No offense to any GM or Admin... But like hitkill said, you need to be able to trust... but also GM's and Admin's, you have to keep in mind, have they done anything to you for you NOT to trust them? :)

    While I'm flattered by the suggestion, truly I am, this isn't the first time the community has brought this idea forward and it's never really accomplished anything.

    Especially since I'm going to finally pass out soon this thread will probably turn into a bashfest sooner or later before Carl lays the hammer of justice down on everyone :D

    Still it is nice to be appreciated by you lot so thanks for that, have a great night all!

    Better close this though before it goes south.

    EDIT: And to answer the question back on page... 2(maybe 2?) yes I do have full admin access in-game. Sadly the restart command doesn't work though and even if it did it wouldn't be of any use once the thing actually crashes :D
