Info PLDT Routing Issue (Philippines ISP)

Hello, PH Daevas!

If your main ISP is PLDT, and you're experiencing some issues connecting to the website or updating your launcher, here's a workaround that you can try. Before you even try these steps, please know that this worked for me after doing a couple trial & error tests with my ISP. Results might differ every step of the way. I'll leave this thread open in case anyone needs help or if other members of the community want to chime in and help.

What's the cause of the connection problem?

Bad Routing/Cloudflare Routing Issue - When I figured out it was a routing issue, there have been some reports circulating that PLDT does have a routing issue with some games, specifically with Cloudflare.

If you're loyal to PLDT, better reach out and ask if they can fix the routing issue with your Network. Be warned, I think Cloudflare Routing issues isn't really something that most of their technicians know or regularly deal with, so it might take a while. I personally gave up when I started to feel the conversation wasn't going anywhere so I opted to look for other options.

Workaround Options
Connecting to Other Networks

• Your goal is to just update the launcher or access the website, so connecting to another internet connection or running on mobile data should work. Just make sure that your mobile provider isn't associated with PLDT, like Smart.

Use a VPN

• While there are a lot of VPNs available, most of them are not free. But if you have an available VPN, launch it and choose whatever country/option is available, it should work since the goal is to bypass the routing issue.
• If using a random country/option doesn't work the first time, try to change it to US/Canada if it's available.

Use a VPN (Cloudflare Warp)

Step 1: Download Cloudflare Warp VPN (https://one.one.one.one/). It's a free VPN.
Step 2: Once you've installed it, open the VPN. You should see it inside Hidden Icon. Once you found it and launched it, it should look like this:

Step 3: This may be different for some, click on the Gear Icon, you should see that 1.1.1.1 is checked, switch it to 1.1.1.1 with Warp instead. I tried the first one and it was still giving me issues, but after switching to the 1.1.1.1 with Warp, I was able to load the website and update the launcher.


Again, results may vary for each user, so feel free to send screenshots and share descriptions of the error, or what steps you took when you encountered errors.
