Delete your Aion folder with all files and download again the game from NcSoft launcher

 

u might have installed crystal launcher in the wrong folder or ur aion requires to be repaired : o

 

nah lol last time this problem was fixed by the person installing windows updates. was pretty simple, try that

@snic installing the launcher in the wrong folder doesnt require a repair and definitely doesnt break it

 

Installing the whole Ncsoft launcher/Aion looks like a careless suggestion, honestly. wtf?
Try a repair and a re-install of Launcher

First of all, you don't even install aion at all, it's all done by the launcher, telling him to delete everything he's downloaded so far to start over, (another 5-8 hours) is careless IMO.

Might be the Ncsoft launcher or Indeed the Operating System.

 

A problem like that may happen when you replace retail aion files with crystal aion files, or when instal files gets updated by launcher and old ones are not recognized anymore. Therefore, consider this option because the only way to repair that is to reinstall.

 

i had the same issue when i had vista on, but somehow it got fixed by itself, i just deleted everything and re-downloaded everything, but dunno in his case, if i am wrong he'll have to go through another 5-9hrs of downloading lol

 

1. Delete ~PS folder inside aion folder (if any).
2. delete all .ncpatch, .P-A-T-C-H-E-D and .X-D-E-L-T-A files (if any)
3. run ncsoft launcher as administrator.
4. repair client.

optional: delete everything but aion.bin in aion/bin32 folder before repairing client (dont forget to backup that folder).

might be antivirus issue. Aion binary files are packed with TheMida and antiviruses like to block those as potential threat.

 

lol u do know that what the ncsoft launcher does IS install aion? xD

Whatever, I thought everyone knew not to leave files you have installed and to make back ups of files replacing.

That's what happened to 11 friends of mine, and that's how they solved it.

 

1. give him a break, people learn from their mistakes, not everybody is used to this and aion does throw out quite a lot of errors
2. that was uncalled for >.> whatever

 

Err, I doubt that happens so often, giving needles irrelevant information makes me believe you are just pulling all of this out of the internet
