please help with language

i have got Russian client 3.5.0.11
itis working and everything but i want to change it to english language please tell me how?
and if you think itis missing somethings please give me links or good torrent to download what's missing please

Your settings should be set up to English by default.

Open NCSoft Launcher > File > Settings > Advanced > Language. Set it to English. I'm not sure if you'd have to repair afterwards or if the game will change it itself. Try w/o repair first. If it doesn't work, repair.

 

well the problem is that the new aion launcher doesn't do that so please give me manual way or something please

 

That's the only way I know. Haven't even checked the new launcher out yet.

Ask some of your friends to do that for you. I was gonna suggest that, but I'm not sure that simply replacing the L10N folder is going to fix it.

 

well the problem is that there's non of my friends plays Aion so please can anyone with a good internet speed upload L10N folder?

 

The L10N folder contains language overrides. The most common fix for languages is to delete the L10N folder and repair. It should download the English one. Do know it will redownload quite a lot of data (between 1-2gb)

Edit: Before repairing, go to you client, open CC.ini and make sure it says cc = "1". This determines the localization it will download (cc=1 means download 1_enu etc, each localiztion has its own number)

 

the new launcher is very slow with me i download with it 50KB every 10mins or something and after searching for many hours some ppl say it doesn't support 3.5.0.11 anymore only 4.0+

 

It can't be, NA Retail is still 3.7

 

well that's what some ppl say anyway here's a picture to see how much the speed itis downloading with

Open the launcher settings, disable peer to peer (basically torrent) and try again, you will download directly from ncsoft servers. It might work better for you.

By the way it is not 4.0 because I am using it. They just changed a few tiny things and still call it 3.5.0.12

 

i did disable peer to peer on the pic and if you say maybe i got problem on internet or pc on the old launcher i used to be full speed 300KB+ but after 8GB (60% or something) the new launcher came and i couldn't continue the download because of speed

 

It doesn't show on the SS xd Anyways what is there any speed difference with peer to peer on and of? By the way, go to speedtest.net and post the results here, both with a local auto detected server and a US one near texas where retail is hosted. I wanna get an idea as to what you are dealing with.

I am lost, what do you mean by after 8gb? Your launcher updated halfway through an update or something? Sounds really weird

I want you to test something out in case your client is just screwed up. Rename your client folder to anything else, as long as it is not called Aion, the NCsoft launcher won't detect it. Try start installing the game from scratch (clean client) and see what speeds you get (both peer to peer and without it)

If it doesn't let you rename because the folder is in use, kill the NCSOFT Update Helper process, it tends to keep it open. Going afk for a bit but I will check back later (an hour maybe)

 

well that's not the same client i use now after i searched for solution on this bad speed and no solution found i searched for days to download client and the only client i found is the Russian client i got right now 3.5.0.11 (version 3.7)
which is working perfectly but the problem is the language

 

Well see what a clean install using the new ncsoft launcher is like, what kind of speeds you get.
