i tot GM's & Am's didnt want us (both asmodians and elyos) to take over the fort where ever is that...

is it boring without fort ?
for me the answer is "Yes it does"

well this response is going to concern you a lot...

I logged in at 5:40 PM my time, 20 minutes before the first round of forts. I logged into my Legion's VoIP Server: not a soul to be found. Skype? No answer.. Legion in-game, got two legionmates and a random who were pvp'ing and didn't come right away.

I started LFG'ing for a fort raid alliance for asteria, and in about 10-20 minutes I had well over 2 groups. Nearing half an hour, it was a matter of kicking inactives and inviting new ppl to the already full alliance. We ended up taking Asteria fortress with 6 minutes to spare and it ended up with the KR name on it, all because I decided that we would go for it and others followed.

Right after this, I had my alliance go to Inggisson for temple of scales. 20 minutes into the raid, we had 2 alliances up and going. 40 minutes into the fort raid, a horde of elyos had broken the 3rd gate of Temple of Scales and were spamming LFG for more help. We took over said fort with around 3 or 4 minutes to spare.

This was all started because one person wanted to start it, and it ended up being a cooperation of over 60 players to conquer everything, and it kept growing every minute. Despite the teminon camper rangers that follow their preys to the other side of the abyss and the small zergs that would wait to kill their preys that fell from the wind stream near the Inggison Silentera entrance, the determination of the elyos to do something for their own wellbeing is what made what happenned today possible, and there's ABSOLUTELY no way that the asmos can't do the same. If there's determination in the hive mind to build massive zergs, there can be determination to take over forts, even if it has to come from only one person to do it.

I'm expecting you guys to take over a fort in gelk or else elyos are gonna come knocking at your doors pretty soon. Just a heads up.

Spamming lfg works like a charm...never see asmos even attempt forts, on that note...please attempt to take our abyss forts =3 it would make things a lot more interesting than balaur facerolling it in 5 mins.

Asmodians have taken the fortresses of the respective map many moretimes than the Elyos have been able to do, here the problem is to take the opposite map and keep it.
I would like to see that a fortress of Gelkmaros be conquered by the Elyos because I never see more than 1 or 2 groups Gelkmaros ... every 1 or 2 hours ...

It's far beyond that. I'd much rather have the ping pong going instead of Elys camping us on our kisks @ the spawn or the other way around (but ive yet to see asmos camp elys). Also, all the mobs there are ruining the whole fight, the goddamn boss is doing it even worse than it already is. To top that off, theres no place to really hide when ur getting zerged cuz noone owns castles now... yea thats so much better than having castles.. not. Wake up zzz

 

Ultimately....giving back each side their forts isnt and shouldnt be an option...no1 likes to be spoon fed....the active balaur will just take back any forts that are 'given' by AMs

if you want a fort to 'hide' in....take it.
with the amount of zergs running around on both sides...each race can easily take over any forts they wish to, thus there is no excuse

The PVP is horrible because you all make it horrible.... Elyos don't need to sit and "camp" in a fort, and asmos don't need to sit and "camp" in their little place waiting for a zerg to arrive. Just take a group, and go! Its seriously that simple and would make pvp a lot more fun than ping pong between two forts in inngison or gelk.... Stop trying to get hand fed...

you do realize that not a single dredgion has spawned since the last update, which is why elyos own almost all the forts now..if you get enough people to take the first door down within the first 30 minutes, the rest is just tapping skills and LFG'ing for help, and eventually the fort is yours.

the pvp is not horrible, the people pvping are horrible at it. I personally will join my legionmates whenever possible to go destroy asmodian kisks at the inggisson dropoffs. you know why? because for me it's not about sitting around fighting and getting AP all day, for me it's all about roleplaying. I am an elyos and you re an asmodian in game, so my goal is not to kill you, my goal is to tear your race down. Destroying your kisks, taking your forts, taking your artifacts.. killing you is just a necessity to complete my real objectives in game (direct example is when we had to fight 2 zergs just to get to vorgaltem yesterday and encounter a 3rd zerg inside, the goal was not the zergs, but the fort), and yes, it is fun to role play, because PvP can get boring fast, specially with zergs forming up every time you go somewhere.

When we had both forts,wed(Asmos) have place to hide from the insane Ely zerg,instead get camped at Forest of Antiquity and stay there on the rock and count the ******* Elys down.!!

"insane ely zerg"... that's a mindless zerger speaking.. detach yourself from the hive mind and look at what you're doing yourself lol... the forts are not being given away by the gm's... and why's that? because the community has showed enough maturity in the past to deal with this on their own. if you want a fort, instead of qqing all day here about how you don't have one, coordinate a raid with others that you know are interested, and then just spam lfg... asmos are more experienced zergers in enemy lands than elys are, seeing as we get overrun by asmos trying to take over altar of avarice, and trying to take vorgaltem citadel as well..

and btw, if you notice right, elys dont ZERG ALL FORTS... if that was the case, then not all the forts would be owned only by 2 legions and the balaur...stop BSing here

IDK Which race you on but I'm quite sure when I say that people are afraid of losing their precious AP or are too dumb to realize that running only gets you so far til the archers catch up to you.
