[Poll]Take out Instance Cooldowns

i find it ironic that all the old 'elitist' 'players say 'hey derp lets keep cooldown because i got all i need anyway'

Seriously, the new people already can't farm dp like we could in the old days, nor can they farm gold medals by hitting the fortress boss once without walls like we used to do. Hell, they can't even farm silver medals to swap to gold medals anymore because yours truely made then unopenable in hide.

Give them atleast 1 thing for christ sake instead of a royal ass ****ing.

But today I see newbies trying to go to BT with rent set Then they fail and come to forum to span xD
So why they go to BT even without Anuhart or Jotun or something like this ?
1° DP was broken until a few days (marabatas defenders)
2° Retail CD.

the order in pve instances would be like
Theolab -> LUT -> UT -> BT -> DP rank S -> Omega/Ragna & Masta/Veille raids

 

A higher up said some time ago that they put back the CDs because people were abusing them...

So i dont think ithey ll remove the CDs anytime soon...

And regardless the prices and availability, i think the CDS are a bit unfair with the new comers that face people that had everything because some sort of convinience... donation its a free choice, not a forcefull one, so thats not an excuse.

but oh well, its just what I think.

Give Stormwing's sets to the general merchant vendors, pretty much the same as taking the CD off of the instances.

 

Or give DP stuff to vendors, and the noobies can at least struggle against BT.

 

And is that a bad thing? Everyone of the high end players that want stormwing will get them anyway, there is no rush for us except for that remodelling urge. For new players on the other hand it's a pressing matter and they actually need the gear.

Sorry but atleast pve gear should be very easy to obtain on a high rate pvp server.

 

I don't think it'd be a bad thing, but they're not going to cater to players like that. They probably won't even take the cooldowns off of instances, no matter how many positive threads are made. I don't think all PvE gear should be easily obtained, but Stormwing's being sold at a vendor would make the server a lot more new player friendly.

 

I think they should take the CD off DP at least for new people so they can at least get a set of anhurnt/Taba stuff, just to give them a taste of a little power. Then they would want the good stuff and donate or vote

 

I wouldn't take the time for an S run even if the timer was taken off of DP.
