Hi there, thought I would post this in case anyone is running into the same problem. For the record, this is on Windows 10, downloading BDO to my D drive.

Issue 1: Initially, the launcher was stuck at finalizing. I followed the instructions reposted here frequently:
Solution: Close the launcher and open gamezbd.status file which is located in Black Desert Online folder and set the value from 0 to 1.

Issue 2: Upon loading the client, I received an Unknown Authorization error. I followed the instructions from the forum:
    Redownload the game launcher

    Which lead to
Issue 3: The launcher then would not install to the root drive (or D drive) and would close before allowing me to select the BDO folder I created.
    and
Issue 4: Somehow the initial launcher reset my admin privileges for the D drive. I attempted this two nights in a row with a fresh format to double check.
    Solution:
    1. Re-enable admin privileges for the D drive. This is important. It's not just for your BDO folder.
    2. Delete the initial BDO launcher exe in your BDO folder
    3. Copy paste the newly downloaded launcher exe into your D drive BDO folder
    4. Launch, and it will check the files, and the game is running now.

Hopefully everything runs smoothly now. *knock on wood*
