Looks like a graphics card issue. What is your Graphics / Video Card and what is the temperature of it?

---------- Post added at 02:11 PM ---------- Previous post was at 02:08 PM ----------

http://www.cpuid.com/softwares/hwmonitor.html#directiontouse CPUID will allow you to see the temperatures in your computer. If your GPU is over heating because of Aion, then you will probably need to get a better one.

Specs are alright to run aion.... Check if the Graphic drivers are installed correctly, and also, what are the graphic settings you have for Aion?

He is a new player, so i think he has the aion 2.0 client, but server is still running 1.9...

If this is your problem, try to follow the instructions from the guide (this guide explains how to downgrade to 1.9).

Another problem that could be occuring is an overheating processor. if the processor does not remain at normal temperatures (60-50 Celsius), it has a tendency to freeze often.

If it is a problem with DirectX, reinstall it.

DirectX11 always comes with Windows 7 Ultimate x64 bit. A high chance is that DirectX 11 is NOT compatible with your graphics card. Better to check with the guys at ATI to see if you can fix the problem without having to purchase another graphics card. I don't have experience with having to deal with Downsizing DirectX =/
