problem With Item pak 2.7

Hello all,

I am trying to install Item.pak 2.7
but everytime i install it i get a error in the start up.
I get a error saying

Failed to initialize the Game.
Can some one help me with this problem :O

is ur game 2.7.0.1 ?

got to ur aion folder and search for version.ini file

 

it was 2.7.0.1 and im repairing it now see if that will help but i think when i repair it, its gonna replace the item.pak

 

yup , it will replace the items.pak

pls give feedback after u finished repairing , u might need the 2.7.0.0 version :3

 

Ok i repaired now, im on version 2.7.0.1 so... im gonna go to the post of item.pak and install the new one.

 

Well again i got the same error..... gonna repair it now again can u give me instructions with what to do

 

ok do this , replace ur bin32 with this one bin32.rar , open the version.ini file , modify version to 2.7.0.0 , save and close and dont forget to install the gamez launcher in Aion folder.

Aahh!!! i cant find the version.ini file WHere is it

 

its freely dumped in ur aion folder, if its not there u can create it manually, just paste this to notepad and save it as version.ini

[Settings]
Version=2.7.0.0

 

Ok, i did that soo now it should work the new item.pak>?

 

it wasnt a fix for the items.pak, its just to tell ur ncsoft launcher what version ur on so it tells u when to update, the version.ini isnt all that important

well just like everybody here, u leave out all relevant information "doesnt work" tells us absolutely nothing xD

gonna need this info
1. operating system
2. US or EU client (dont mean region settings, everybody has that on north america)
3. which items.pak did u try
4. have u tried the xml version (nothing in the items folder except for the xml files)
5. has any other items.pak worked for u be4 (if yes, use it)

5. The standard item.pak aion installs for u

 

for the first i meant xp/vista/7
for the 5th i meant any of the past versions (for 2.6, 2.5 etc)

and yes 2.6 i gues than

 

then get 2.6 again, the only difference is u wont see the very latest items (which is probably just the TAC stuff, not sure, nobody buys that anyway coz it sux)

 

i got 2.6 again, and i can't even trade a triroan dagger this is no fun man is there no way to fix it

 

Just to be clear on somthing make sure you are putting it in:

NCSoft/Aion/USA/Items

and not

NCSoft/Aion/Items

There are two different folders, and putting it in the incorrect one will cause your game to error out.
