Well, I am not quite sure how much you know about software in general, but as far as I know Anti-Virus programs are notorious for finding "possible file alerts". Using a 3rd party anti-virus on a Windows10 PC, is usually not recommended because the Windows10 Defender already does the job it's supposed to.

It has been stated that some aggressive 3rd party anti-viruses will find an error with GamezBD, but it isn't really something that is infecting or spying on your system, which you can test with various programs that monitor your internet activity.

The thing that the GamezBD Launcher does, is take advantage of the Torrent technology, and uses itself as a sharing platform, so that other GamezBD players can download the game faster, also a few changes had to be made to run the game, so that it connects to the GamezBD server instead.

Basically you can read all about it, in the how to install the game part of the website, think that there is also a version on the Telegram channel, and in here somewhere.

Otherwise, Welcome to GamezBD, hope your stay with us will be an enjoyable one.

That's the thing - everything was fine up to that moment. And that's why I'm surprised, and I'm interested. I can't agree with you about third-party antivirus, because the regular antivirus very often fails to do its job.

@edi4 it is quite fine to have different opinions on any topic, and although both of us could find a number of articles saying whatever we are inclined towards, the truth is that it is merely a matter of opinons.

The reality of the situation is, that the Windows10 Defender does do its job as well as it needs to, and the idea that the inbuilt anti-virus offered by Windows isn't good enough, is a relic ideology from back when I got my first PC, back when there wasn't any Global-internet services.

The Windows anti-viruses back when the internet kicked off, were horribly easy to defeat, and that is what the elder generations cling to, when they insist that you need more than one anti-virus.

The funny thing is, that the 3rd party anti-viruses often make mistakes, but it is mostly because they have aggressive detection schemes, and the fact that they find something that the other anti-viruses don't, is funnily the reason that most humans think they are that much better than any others.

You can try to argue all you want to, I know the history and both the sides of the debate, so all in all it boils down to what makes you feel safe personally, also if you are a follower of mainstream or not :p
