[PSA/SUPPORTING OUR STAFF] ABOUT REAL MONEY TRADERS (RMT)

Hello Daevas,

This is to raise awareness about Real Money Trading (RMT) going on in our community and ask for all of your help and cooperation.
RMT is the act of buying or selling ingame items for IRL cash.

In the rules, it explicitly states:

However, there have been - and sadly there still are - people who seek to damage this server for personal gain. All just so they don't have to work IRL.
I have successfully verified that they do this on other pservers as well to make a living, with medium to huge success. (If they only used their time to get a real job instead of living off benefits, huh...)

Let's all remind ourselves that the Magic Bloom Event and Solid Ice Event got nerfed because of RMTers.
Unfortunately, combating RMT without nerfing events is really hard for Admins and a game of whack-a-mole.
So if you want to prevent event nerfs in the future, we need to work together to keep the community clean.

Here's what YOU can do TO KEEP OUR COMMUNITY CLEAN AND HELP STAFF

1. If you see somebody who advertises something like "WTS XYZ == CREDITS", act as if you're interested.
2. If they try to lead you to Discord to discuss further pricing here's where you start recording a video. Make sure you record the whole screen and entirety of the UI. (Windows' Snipping Tool has a "Record" functionality)
3. Type in the commands "/say" and then "/time" to make sure you don't accidentally put the command in LFG to record the time and date. (which may alert the RMTer)
   
4. If they try to lead you to Discord or wherever, you continue recording and make sure it's evident that the ingame chat and Discord chat are correlated.
5. Once you get evidence of them asking for money, you kindly BACK OUT of the deal (IMPORTANT!!! This keeps you safe.) and wish them a nice day.
6. You then upload the evidence somewhere.
7. Make a report about the player in the reports section, link to the video evidence.

This enables staff to swing their ban-hammers quickly and without any hesitation.

Keeping the community clean makes it easier for staff to concentrate on the important things - like making stuff better.
So I say let's help them and work together as a community. Spread the word and spread awareness. If you see someone who RMTs, show them they are not welcome on this server and tell them to go find a real job.
(Maybe this can be a recurring server message too.)

That Shizuku AKA (Gebimaru-asmo), Nig, Anna, Rythem, and lots more characters. Destroyed the Bloom event in the first place. Putting all his asmo and elyos characters near bloom respawn points,.switching to each accounts to farm to sell for real money. And Shizuku being 1 of the cause why the ice event is nerfed so bad. He is the best example of a parasite (and arrogant parasite thinking He's better than anyone) fking disgust me. An unemployed person who is online 24/7 selling things, selling stuffs for RMT. Possibly uses script (any sort of cheats) for his gladiators moves like (Beast). He is a Filipino playing in the Philippines just like the other Filipinos. He must have a 200+ ping same to us. How come he moves that fast? One of this days i will get a clear video of this shite to prove my point he hacks. As for the RMT., He destroyed the events, the market and the brokerage.

 

As I remember, someone told me, He use "macro" for the skills. I think his attack speed is not normal. RMT + Hack + Noob Glad = Parasite.
