Puddles Event

I know the event was a long time ago, but I am curious about your opinion on the signatures. I am not even around gamez anymore.
There were like awesome sigs around there, and the selected sigs were not that good.

In my opinion, the whole event was a waste of time, picking up a few bad sigs, and then a good sig ( regi ) kinda makes me laugh.

And now she's using avatars and sigs that were not even selected. Well the ava is mine lmao.

I just think the selected sigs were bad compared with others like camila sigs, untouched and so on. Something is not right. I smell scam

If your questoning the judgment passed on them. The sigs that were selected were the ones that I felt had effort and time put in.

Considering there were multiple flaws with many of the 'main' sig makers entries on the signatures themselves in which going though them, I did take note of and used those as factors as to choose which were selected for eventual judging.

Kinda funny that you want to get into that if you want a detailed explaination as to why each and every sig was selected or not I would be glad to give you the time of day, however. It would take a few hours...over ten or more most likely.

So with that in mind I chose ones for judging that seemed to fit my personality best. Also, the point of the contest was to showcase skill for those who might not normally have incentive to take the time to make something of quality and worth. As I am sure you know the main sig makers here get plenty of requests.

If you would kindly take the time to consider the fact that well, I put the prize out of my own pocket here and the fact that I would be the one using the signature in the end. Bearing that in your head while you wrap around the fact that my eyes are able to see most mistakes and such that are made even from the 'main' stream people.

I found that the ones selected had the nicest flows, minimal effect additions to mask flaws and or picture / texture overlaps / gradients / blurs and such what not.

However, if you are displeased with the one I chose to have judge by people who well, I am sure you know don't normally make signatures to where they would perhaps showcase out some new talent as AM signatures are seen by more people here than normal signatures.

My gesture was for them with how I chose and the ones that I Personally liked out of the mass of signatures that were made. I am not saying the others were not good, they were, and I did like them but after-all. Given the other things I have mentioned here? They were the logical choices for judging out of the way the others were made.

I mean, if you check the themes of the others, they all followed similar aspects. Those who got judged and selected? Were out of the 'flow' so to speak.

Was the first couple lines in the thread, where she pretty much said she changes them really often. Should have been known that they were subject to change, hell I change mine fairly often too, but i'm picky about my artists

Also, it wasn't "Rigged" as you claim, as EVERYONE in staff received rage PMs from Puddles asking us to vote on them. Personally I voted for Elfion's and Dariz1's.
