In games, there is no such thing as Fair Fight even in the real world, disabling the other portal as if you're saying that the administration is not fair for all ppl or class, there are ppl using cloth have an advantage in this type of event, I see ppl who wins even they're using cloth. I'm not a fan of this type of events, but still I see ppl love those types of events, I don't think so that disabling a type of portal event or replacing them for that reason is really valid, we can say that glads/temps or other class have an advantage in those events but cloth users have their own trump card for anything. And changing maps is not an easy task to begin with, sometime it's not just the game that need to adjust, but also the players who play the game need to adjust to the nature of the game,

Having a full EA gear in 1 week? Yes. BL Set? No. In a month or two i guess. Voting system is messed up now that Vote #4 is likely to be "haywire" at this moment, so voting will be (12x3=36, if online, 18x3=54), make it twice a day voting (36x2=72, if online 54x2= 108). For example, 72 x 30 or 31 days a month would be 2160/2232 (3240/3348 if online while voting). That would get at least 2 parts of BL/Prime gears in just a month (with eagerness of voting twice a day of course).
Plus..
Entering events like GvG (Auto groups and Pre-made groups), but I'm sure newbies will not enter these events unless they're ready and geared enough to fight.
Two Gods/Guardian gives 10 credits every win, so if a newbie has the best luck of the day, he can get 40-60 credits (4-6wins), but in a normal day (2-3 wins, 20-30 credits), bad luck gets nothing or 1 win (10 credits).

PS: Not everyone has the same mindset like the majority has. Consider the consequences too. Not everyone can donate for themselves. Most of the people play just to enjoy the game and make friends. It's their choice to donate to gear up for themselves the fast way or they go grind they gear the hard way.
