Question about Western Union donating

Well my problem/question is this:

I just went to a bank that works with western union transfers and I asked to transfer a certain amount of USD to the name specified on the site, in Barbados.

the lady at the counter told me that Barbados doesnt work with USD, only with Barbados Dollars and that the amount of USD im gonna transfer will be converted in Barbados Dollars and it wont be the same amount.

So what should I do, just go, buy the amount of USD i wanna donate and transfer them and u guys will receive exactly the amount I sent?

I hope for a prompt respons from an admin, with a valid respons. I dont wanna lose some cash or get less credits than i donate

They're honestly supposed to ask you if you want to convert it or not.

They asked me when I did mine not that long ago.

In any case, hopefully an AM with more experience would be able to help you or direct it to Carl himself.

 

Yes that's how it works.But you have to send to Carl a mail with the amount you sent in US dollars not Barbados dollars.

 

So i just convert in USD dollars the amount i want and fill the form at the bank with those dates? cause the lady at the bank said that I can do that but at the receivers end there might be less dollars than i wanted to give

 

And how can i get in touch with Carl?to ask him
