Question:Remove item loot notification

I'm just wondering if is there a way to remove the item loot notification on the top portion of the screen when able to loot an item (eg.blackstone armor,accessories etc)

 

Although this is a Suggestion, and not really a Discussion, I would love to back up your Suggestion.

The flashy advertizing banner, that keeps popping up, covering part of the screen, is not really that helpful, and rather annoying. It would indeed be beneficial to all players, if it could be added as an option instead of always being there.

 

That's true especially with players like me who don't have a big monitor

 

There's a game addon called Better Stats, i won't add any link since idk if its bannable or not.
This addon will remove item notification for almost everything besides Yellow Loot

Yes, you can remove Others' Loot screen alerts! Press Esc > Settings > General Settings > Alerts.
There you have to turn off "Others' Loot/Dream Horse":

Hmmm self loot... Sorry, but it's not possible, not in an official way. This is something PA should work to implement as a custom setting.
Not that you can't find a addon or something like that, but the one that @Donyi mentioned isn't updated, so it probably won't work here. Besides, he already stated that it doesn't remove notifications to yellow items.

 

Thanks for weighing in @Chiclete, it is nice to know that there are some addons, and that they don't seem to be a bannable offense.

However, just in case, could the staff make an official statement to this fact?
Perhaps adding a link to an addon site, where players can find things that aren't bannable?

 

I have asked @Kolka about this addon before replying and he said it's not, I even asked twice to be sure. I wouldn't say that, as a Staff Member, if it wasn't official. However, it's probably not going to work due to its outdated version. I don't have any links to provide, I've found about this particular addon by @Donyi's post in this thread, but I think if you search for it you probably gonna find other similar addons, but you have to test it to know if it works.
