Question

Any of you guys have a clue how to switch two ABG sets with different manastones during PvP? (Other than opening ur inventory and clicking it.. ) Macros don't wanna work, shortcuts too since it doesn't let me drag BOTH my sets down to the quickbar. I drag my MR part and when I release on the bar it shows my other one. Solution//FIX PLEASE!

there was a post by smartik I remember bookmarking it o,o it was about macro variables. You should ask him about this.

 

well the general idea was to have both sets in different quick slots (so ud take up like what, 10 slots or so for armors) and then make a general macro that controls which of those slots to trigger

so for example ud have 1 main macro to activate the quick slots of 1 set like this

/quickbar 1 6 1
/quickbar 1 6 2
/quickbar 1 6 3
/quickbar 1 6 4
/quickbar 1 6 5

then another macro to use the 2nd set

/quickbar 1 5 1
/quickbar 1 5 2
/quickbar 1 5 3
/quickbar 1 5 4
/quickbar 1 5 5

but yea uses up like 12 slots (10 for armors, 2 for controlling macros) so not very efficient. if i find anything else ill tell u

the variables dont work on sets with identical names the game ignores object ID and only considers the name with macros. thats why u need fixed slots that separate the 2 sets from each other

u dont have to put the armors into VISIBLE quickbars, u can switch to one of those ridiculous empty sets (the numbers on quickbars, toggle through them till u find an empty one) and reference that in the main macro

so on ur visible bars u only take up 2 slots xD

 

Yes I know, but theres another bug too. I drag my MR paulds lets say and as soon as I drop em on the bar they suddenly change to my Attack ones. I can't drag both sets on the bar or I would be able to do it. ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ damn it so annoying

 

drag it into a totally different quick bar set and see what happens. there r what, like 10 different sets of quick bars?

 

Doesn't help. It just won't let me drag both the sets on my bar and even if I do and then do two different macros it still messes them up. Go figure. Cami said theres no fix or solution but I had my hopes up... for alittle while

 

then seems like its a server bug, no other macro trick will help u since quick bars were the only way for this

What are u talkin about? Are you using 2 same sets? like 2 abg leather sets? and how did u get em to work?

 

maybe try put 1 in quickbar and 2nd from macro ??

 

Can't. Sets have same names and the macro doesn't know which part to put on and which one to take off.
