    if i am a chanter and i use shield what is the best manastone should i use ?

    umm, block i guess, but if u want to use a shield y didnt u go cleric? chanter is a much higher dps class than cleric, and most use a staff. but if u want to use a shield than i would use block or def i guess.

    Socket type doesn't depend on if you use Mace+Shield or staff. It depends on what you would like to do, group PvP, solo PvP, Solo PvE, Group PvE. Your equipment will also vary depending on those factors. There really isn't a build which excels in all areas.

    I would say HP/Parry, chanters wont really be able to get their block up high enough to see many in PvP. Everyone is rocking 50-55 Eternal weapons that give them enough accuracy. HP would help in PvP situations where you needed to mainly heal, parry would be good against melee classes if you used your boost parry skill as well.
