    Not true.

    People have continued to donate on the basis that they assume he'll fix the server if they keep doing so. Of course, any AM will come in and say, "what he makes is no one's business, and be patient, we're working on it".

    This thread will get locked and everyone will go about their business as normal until the next thread like this pops up in a week. And the cycle repeats itself with AMs asking for patience and promising fixes that are coming soon.

    My honest opinion is, that most of you really don't understand how time consuming a developer's job is. I've been on enough private servers and usually it's 1-5 guys keeping the project alive - next to their real lives. If it was so easy to keep a private server alive, we'd surely have 10x the servers we have right now. Just throwing it out there ...

    I highly doubt anyone is going to be donating the amount of $$$ they used to with the server how it is right now.

    I think at one point he really really cared about this. In some way he still cares, even if its only about the $$$ part. But if even its only that now, it means he still has to try to fix this to keep the $$$ flowing.
