I dunno if we had the same problem but the game sometimes instantly close after selecting character...
    like it won't or something.
hopefully someone that has encountered the same problem see this and share what they have had done to fix it...
I am factoriung out the hardware since at least I am running the game at bare minimum with the following specs:

    r5 3600
    16gb ram 3200mhz
    rx580 8gb

Hmmm, have you looked at the common errors and solutions?

There might be a solution in there that helps you out, despite not being described as an error specifically.

Deleting the User-cache is one way to test it, you can find that in your username-documents-bdo folder.

Otherwise I would tell you to run a system check on your hardware, like a RAM/CPU/HD/SDD test.

Usually it is a simple solution though.

I would like to refer you all to have a PM talk with our resident problem crusher @Kolka, but first I would simply have to ask you if your windows-version is genuine?

Because other than running third-party software, having a "cracked"-version of windows can lead to problems as well.
