Range / Assassin Which are relatively stronger?

don't confuse it with retail,with the full geared that attacking under-geared group.here if you get attacked my 2-3 ppl,you're dead.no matter your class.you wont die as fast as a Ranger or Sorc,but you will die.

 

Sins.. are sorta hard to PvP with. I'm getting the hang of it, but it's still confusing and hard x___x"

Well, the ranger is stronger but the assassin is really fast and it's critical rate is really high (probably the highest), both are balanced.

 

But really, sins rape rangers one-on-one, especially if they go into Hide II and All-seeing eye is on CD, then if you're a ranger then you know you're pretty much prone to get raped (especially if the sin is abyss geared )

IMO if you have the good rate of ping needed - definetly the sin.
rangers are nice and easy to play, a sin is a real piece of work, takes more time to learn than the ranger.

u should get urself a ranger....they are alot more versatile against most classes- just gotta be cautious with the plate class and rangers stronger than u....sins vs rangers, it comes down to how u use ur skills regardless of what class, but if one catches the first attack versus the other- they have a 75% chance of completing the kill....im a ranger- and i dont worry much about sins UNLESS i cant keep a good distance from them....as with any class versus rangers. That's why plates are a bit on the scary side to face. the dps can be shaken off. and then sins have a brilliant array of stun-locks and a nice dps pot! I became a ranger because I ran retail as a chanter and had to be close combat until 50....with the MC helping but not fixing the range. so, like everyone is posting....it's really up to ya, but if u start falling asleep with one- just start up the other- and switch out the gear- GL FUGLI the ELYOS

 

well, for me, i just play my ranger. No, i dont really think they go shitty def because i can usually kill glad/temp even if they get close to me.

But, no mater wat class u play, u NEED good gears.
Right now i am at ABG 2x ring 2x earing and necklec, ABG leather set+15 crit+15, and ABG bow +15 10%blind MP resist.

Yet... if you dont stun, entangle, or sleep your enemy you WILL die=)

Overall:

Ranger with good equip= uber high brust dmg for like 10-20s. (MAU form, fury shot , etc ) give you like loads of +% atk and dmg. BTW ranger can run fast like scared pussis. MAU form speed walk and tactkle retreat, you can out run ppl flying lol....

sin: stun you and hit you to death. But one they are interrupted their survival chance is lower.
