Ranger 1vs1 @ all class, for experts.

Rangers dominate the field especially in balaurea. Whoever depends on hide as a skill in battle is rubbish, hide should only be used in emergencies.
Good templars dominate any class if one knows how to play it right.

And wow since when can rangers go melee and slide on rollerblades x.x this is all too new to me since I quit so long ago.

 

weird.. i saw both stonela and thanados today lol.. yeah innactive alright xD thanados is one of my older friends here at gamez hes on very often and stonela=noylie/fabi hes on everyday as well

i agree skyfir hide should be used in emergencies and the rollerblades thing is a new motion called hover xP

 

My opnion of the order of class OP:
1º Socerer (now nerf but it still is the most OP)
2º Templar (wtf, have reflect without buff, 4~5 hit = over kill)
3º Gladiator (1 hit = 1 stun, 100%, 5 hit can kill any class)
4º Chanter (1 hit = 1 stun 150%, but less OP that Glad)
5º Rangers (rly? rangers have delay here? I don't see, u can attack like a machine-gun, and always with 90m + wall shot... etc.)
6º SM (no so OP now, but still fear r an f*cking skill)
7º Sin (nothing OP, lower damage, dependent of ur MA, all class using MR, and sin can't use, coz if u use u never will get 1 stun)
8º Cleric (can heal, and give 1 stun, just good coz u can resist many skills)

 

ABG glad's & templars + MR users seemed to be a nut I couldn't ever crack but beyond that (lumiel btw). Other then that, it's hunting season.

 

So.. how many things have changed? o.o I heard the MR sky rocketed and snares turned into dust :x

Sorcerers may be powerful but they like paper and they may beat rangers in duel but in the abyss they have very little chance ^^

second: rangers on gamez aion are obviously not retail-like...but they have been debugged enough since last days to play them decently now. they were really nerfed, now, we can say it's ok.

rangers is the most strategic aion class, wich made it the funniest class, IMO...
you can play everywhere, with every style, against everyone if you have a decent ping/set/build/strategy.

all you need is to find your style and to keep increasing your skill everyday:

zerging= agonize stigma tree/ hybrid tree (taking all buffs+some stuffs).your job is to put traps, dps clothe/leather/chains, and kyte plates.

all= hybrid tree

solo= first tree. hybrid tree is good but you can't really 2-3v1 easily using this...
put the first tree+silence arrow+sleep arrow+bestial fury...the dps wont be huge but you could 2v1 easily =)
I use the first tree cuz it's the only one build allowing me to 2-3v1 and also, because it has fast animations. furthermore, you don't need to use the jumpshot trick everytime cuz you can launch arrows while running.
(most of gamez players have a bad ping, wich make jumpshot really hard to play with...).


IMO, rangers can be usefull on zergs (traps, control, and dps ), but their main meaning is on solo pvp.

playing solo, you can go everywhere...not like some classes. for example glads/sins love ground pvp but don't rly enjoy flying...
well, i wont say it's easy to fight some classes as ranger...but if you adapt your style/strategy everytime, you can beat everyone...even on this server =)

if you play on siel: just come to lumiel, stigmas' system is a way more interesting ^^

@ablazed: stop thinking this class is OP...it's your ping wich is OP...
try to play ranger with a 300ms ping (like me and many others on this server) and you will find this class isn't op. 80% of your "skill" comes from the fact you have 8-10 times better ping than 70% of gamez players...in this way you can play every class and find them "OP"...kthxbye

Oh yea most of my skill comes form ping. What the **** ever. I'm not the only one with good ping on this server. I've fought multiple other people with ping as low as mine and even lower. I've played almost every class with the same ping and out of all of them, ranger/glad/sorc are by far the most op. Add 300 ping to every class and they'll still be in the top of all of them. The only class lowering ping helps is assassin. So don't give me this bullshit lowering ping makes the class op.

But hey if you're so pathetic you think my skill comes from ping, then that's your worthless little opinion.

 

I didnt read the whole thread, but if the one who made it means, that he just want the opinion from highranks (5star+).... he isnt worth it to play any class well. <.<

 

well this thread was made a few weeks back i dont think the OP was looking for 5stars+ just experienced rangers

as for tritium,

my ping is always 250+ i seem to do fine even against people with lower ping the myself

 

I like asian's they are smart and deep with words, and what u wrote for us here, is how a ranger should play, and no one may tell u different, but there's always naby's who say " oh why ur hiding in a duel, oh ur just weak u use traps, all those complains.

dont let anyone tell u how to play your class, NO POTS THO
