Recent Patch: Changes?

retail bdo never went super p2w imo. just, super pay to convenience. shit like weight and pets blah blah.

I know why you might not like us posting off-topic so much but consider that people are likely to read through the first and last pages most rather than middle pages and this thread is basically getting free attention/bumps so that more people and hopefully more staff see it. They're most definitely going to notice the thread and if for whatever reason they decide not to respond/do anything about the changes, our posts will have had absolutely no bearing on that, it's simply them deciding to not do anything about it. Until then just relax a bit and enjoy that this thread is going to be on top of recent posts for a while

It's more p2w than ever right now since they added blessing of kamasylvie to the shops recently http://bddatabase.net/us/item/17080/
as well as some other ridiculous stuff like loot boxes for the hedgehog pet that increases your rewards from gathering, you could still argue its "pay to convenience" but it's much worse than its been in a looong time right now and that was my queue to finally quit, although I was already getting pretty burnt out from the tet/61 grind

Idk takes so much time to even get to a tet roulett attempt then you fail and just want to kill a small child.

yeah they also added book of combat to pearls too, but even though exp is important that doesn't matter quite as much as kamasylvie does to me, some people were making 10mil/hour more after doing tests with kamasylvie and the recent drop rate changes on retail
hedgehog was always iffy but I didnt mind it much until recently they started doing the pet lootbox stuff
there's probably some other shady things I've been forgetting about recently but I forgot
oh yeah they were adding a permanent fairy pet people get, idk if its been added to NA or not yet but you could enhance it a lot with pearl shop stuff
and they added a campsite where you can buy villa buffs/use some storage/etc anywhere in the world, it only costs $50 in pearls

I considered starting up on gamez BDO way back when they were doing the beta on it but I was already deep enough into retail aaa
