Regarding Stormwing

Hi all,

Pardon this noob (me) for asking about SW. Anyone able to fight SW at the moment? I saw another thread on CrystalAion saying we have to finish a chain of quest before we can engage SW. is that true for here?

I have a few doubts at the moment.
- I saw someone wanting to trade SW spear
- I'm trying to do the chain quest but somehow the mob doesnt spawn or something. Namely, this quatermaster near entrance to SC.

Please help this noob and answering a few doubts ^^
- Is SW available for engagement?
- Do we need to finish the chain of quest?

I did all the quests, entered there, NO DROP. Hope in 2.6 his drops will be added ..

 

The drops won't be added because they are sold in item shop, enough effing threads on this already.

 

I thought someone in siel got 1 item from 50 runs xD maybe it was before when the stormwings chain quest was implemented to get in SW, anyway my asmo legion has one who did all the quests for it. We went in BT killed isbariya but cant enter then we killed the 3 other bosses captain, virhaya, and the guy in the horse but still cant get in (Lumiel)

 

First of all, Yes! You have to finish the Stormwing Quest Chain to be able to open the portal to Stormwing. Unfortunately at the moment, it drops nothing valuable but Vorpal items specially Vorpal Essence which is needed for Siel's Dominant Weapon quest.

Now, in my own opinion, I think it is highly possible that someday, one of this days, Stormwing will drop the items it should drop since that's what happened to Abyssal Splinter after 2.5 update. Forgotten Abyssal sets was the most rare item before but now it's good as nothing but for extraction.

Pre 2.5 Stormwing dropped Stormwing items like the wings, orb, and tunic. I got plenty of it until they disabled the drops.
