This server's growth would not be as popular if it weren't for @Vampyrism who originally told me about it. If he did not tell me about it, the server would have been the same low pop. Truly, it is the word of mouth that caused the growth of the server. When Vamp told me about the server, I decided to tell the guys and gals in FML about it. A few of people decided to try it out and then 2/3rds of the guild joined in. Word spreads and still spreads from YouTube content creators such as LOLHero. The result introduced competition into the private server which most of the community needed.

Onwards to the fact of why you were suppressed from the guild. You were constantly acting very elitist, snobbish, and almost anything you said up to this point is pretty false. You also made a big deal over someone using your profile pictures for trolling purposes when you could have done what I said: "Lock your social media from the public to avoid more damage." Of course, you failed to listen and charged right at Vamp to get SLRZ/Tony to stop using your photos or you will go to war with his guild. I thought it was pretty selfish of you to think about yourself and not the others who would have suffered if it had happened at your call.

Lastly, the way you talk makes you look like a joke.

Also, competition breeds higher quality content so if another server wants to come along and attempt to offer a better service, great, that will only force Gamez to work even harder and be even better.

 

So were playing a server ripped off from a retail version, mixing with the rates and are too afraid to release them incase another server rips off this one? Thats just retarded fucking hypocrisy.

I never saw a game, before BDO retail (and this pserver) hiding mechanic informations about the game and it's work. This is just bullshit and we all can see the results: having a small, luckier/smarter/GotMoreTimeThanYou/ExploitedThatTrickBeforeGotNerfed group of ppl who discovered the big "secrets" about the game mechanics to use for their advantage and their only, totally ruining other players game experiences.
This policy could work and add fun to the game BUT only if managed properly (which is not in retail and even worse here).

Just tell us how this game works so we'll know how to play.
Just for EXAMPLE:
Drop rate chances for "insert name here" item?
Enhance success rate of "insert name here" item from X to X with 0 to X FS?
Spawn times?
Relation/function of Accuracy and Evasion?
Etc..

Every game i played got mechanics clear, NOT knowing them would allow developers to just do what the hell they want to do without making it clear to the players. This in not respectful, ppl donate REAL MONEY to the server and it's development, should be AT LEAST MORALLY *NICE* to let ppl know.

 

Most people act like they came here because of retail " taking too much time " or " wanting a fresh break from main BDO " Lets not be bullshitting here. Whilst i don't represent anyone, only myself, we came here because we'd had enough of Kakao's shit.
NOT just pay to win. The lack of communication, the changings of mechanics behind the scenes and the ignoring of the community. And it hasn't changed over here, with completely different staff. Infact it seems worse here because its among the players, with people still " threatening " to leave rather than just leaving and players pretending they represent staff

If you truly are authorized to post things and speak on the dev’s behalf, can you at least get a flair that isn’t “new member” cuz otherwise you appear to others as an “actor” as you put it. Not saying you are or aren’t but on this platform you appear to be no more than anyone else. Just an observation.

This thread was meant to clear up a few rumors spreading around. It was not meant to be a bashing session, as this does not help the server or the population. Telling people to just leave also does not help the issue, but inflames it. This server has a small staff team that is working hard to make the server enjoyable for all, not just a select few. While I was inactive due to being sick, I understand the need for communication, which is why I am replying now. I do understand that the spawns were made retail like, but the rates themselves were not. That being said, it in itself can make it seem like lower rates due to the higher population. I also understand that this has also helped the stability of the server somewhat. It would be better to have communication that actaully helped the server instead of bashing each other and the team.

and clearly it has affected player opinions and clearly made newer challenges for newer players.
This isn't controversial, nor is this black and white
-- the point is if developers don't listen to players, which clearly there are at least a hundred or maybe more people disliking the change -- then perhaps it's for the best to enact change.
But something tells me that change will never happen.
The devs if anything are gonna merely put this under the rug, and hopefully as time goes on players old and new will find means to adjust and adapt.
Not a nice move -- but rather disappointing.
This is a great server, lets keep it that way for everyone.

The devs aren't just sweeping this under the rug. The spawn rate has been adjusted twice already since the initial update. From all reports I've received from older players, the devs read but do not respond. I can see why because even if they were developing this as a full time job, their time would be very short. As I understand, it's not their full time job; it's done as a hobby. Time is very short, so they can't respond to everything. I think we could use some more communication from someone, and an official thread on everything different regarding this server. Not an unofficial thread from Calestia. I'm not sure I want to take their word with all of the thread drama going on between them and FML. Would rather get it from a true credited source like Noyah or Lareldal.

 

Hello everyone, I have a rumor to add, The rumor is after recent patch [Update] 03/26/2018 Gathering rates have been tweaked/reduced
Personally I have noticed a slight decrease in my hourly sharp/hard gather grind then a few weeks ago (Before the compensation week), but so far I have not gathered enough for sufficient results as RNG plays a big part in gathering, but as the days go by and still see a decrease in average sharp/hards gathered per hr of my personal quota, I would see myself believing the rumor till It gets rebunked.

This COULD be a great server. Instead is on the same level with retail.
Devs could just let this server shine, instead they are trying to mess things up in a uselessly complicated way.
Retail is slow, stressing, unforgiving.
Then private servers MUST be the opposite, or it would make no sense at all.

I FAILED to PRI Asula's earrings in this server, while on retail i don't even know that's possible to do..at least i NEVER failed to PRI asula's accessories there.
I one, two or tree shotted EVERY SINGLE PIECE of my gear from 0 to TRI (with the right FS off course) on retail. Here instead i keep failing HARD to get items to +15..is this normal?
So i choose to just sell everything and try to buying pieces already enhanced, but it's been slow as hell, as you can imagine, but i just prefer not to get stressed with a stupid non-better rng system for enhancements.

What's the point of having x10 to everything if then, when looking at facts, i'm finding this server as stressing and unforgiving then retail? You are saying that enhancement rate is higher then retail server? Good, i'm not seeing it, and i'm not the only one here.
This could be heaven, instead is not and that's sad.
BUT devs have, indeed, the power to change everything, i don't know what they are waiting for, though.
Maybe they are too busy thinking a way to get more profit from donations...i mean AT LEAST fix that damn 65$ bugged-as-hell t9. That's another shame for this server and his developers and staff.

There is people i spoke with that are thinking about going back to retail, and i'm thinking the same too, at least there i already spent time to achieve something in the end. That's the biggest fail of every private server, loosing ppl back to the retail version of the game! Come one guys! I really want to stay here, looked fun.

 

Umm I think that this discussion is meaningless lul. That Calestia doesn't want to seem to change his or her attitude so let the dev wannabe alone and let's enjoy what we have (I still believe this is better than retail no?)

@Calestia I can mention three different instances where the staff has explicitly ignored me reaching out to them about an in game bug that in a way rolled me back two weeks of play time. I have every proof necessary to back up my statements. Besides the obvious and seemingly intentional negligence of the staff, I do believe it makes more sense that an ACTUAL staff member communicate with the player base, at least it would be a move in the right direction.

 

They made an error and forgot to put a block on the UI - it was fixed a few hours after the T9s were released and you can no longer sell the webshop T9 horse on the horse market.

I posted a screenshot on this thread backing up my claims but a staff member has deleted it - perhaps information that the public shouldn't know about? I can send it to you in PM if you still don't believe me.

I agree with your last statement entirely, it would be nice to have a formal post by a staff member that all players can keep track of, and they can update it on the fly - it'd really help relations between players and the team.
