Hi guys sorry to bother you but I have a question. Recently I noticed that my lag was way too much and also my fps have some problems....so I searched the internet to find something that could help me....

I found this thread on aion na forums 64-bit from launcher (the right way) - Aion Forums basically it teaches you how to run aion in 64 bit by changing the name of the folders.

I followed the instructions ( renamed bin32 and bin64 folders) but when I type my id and pass I have this screen

    http://i51.tinypic.com/53n30o.jpg

I restored the folder names and I could easily log in. The question is: How can I run my aion in 64 bit? Is it worth the effort?

    Thx and love ya

it does not work here because the dll file that links the Client with Gamez server is on 32 bit, not 64. If you wish to play Aion retail, then no problemo.

They removed 64 bit compatibility for aion a while ago due to instabilities and what not. Technically its not supported although people still try to use it anyway. Like mentioned above running 64bit wont work here.

actually retail officially restored 64 bit support xd u can always tell by checking the last modified date on the files. i know for a time they stopped updating it and new clients didnt have bin64 at all but now its officially back

as for the dll, its the d3d8thk.dll thats a problem coz its a 32bit one and nobody made a 64bit version to load with the rest. it is the old no IP fix for private servers, thats why u cant connect without it

anyways no loss really. i tried the 64bit version on retail and its even laggier than 32bit.
