Sage's Gift quest problem

    I have all 5 pieces of the Daevonion armor, spent 3 hours in the Western Eracus Desert, and did not get a single Ancient Energy drop. Is this quest bugged or is there some kind of workaround?

    I'm pretty sure the weapon quest is bugged.
