Scam report

Well the deal was to trade my Mast sword first to check it its a dupe or not, we did this by ourselves since there wasn't any gm on. So he logged out and he isn't back even after 45min. I'd like to someone to check on this guy while its still early. Its 4am in my place so I gta bounce. Will check 6-8 hrs from now.

Anyways, best of luck to you, but it might be a bit hard to find a willing senior to check it out/be willing to refund a scammed item.

 

Well I'd care less about the sword. I'd be more than lucky if I'd get it back. I just want that scammer IP banned cuz up till now he's roaming free which srsly annoys me.

 

Was the trade ever completed cause i don't see a screenshot showing it was?

Also screenshot proof of that would be nice as well.

 

Uh yes its been completed otherwise I wouldn't be posting here. Is it possible to check trade logs and the item ID? And oh You can check my account if you want to. I'll send my infos via message.

 

If you load up your chat.txt you should be able to find logs of you and him talking, the trade completion, and him logging off and so on.

 

It's not like retail here where they log everything. That's why she was asking for proof, but I hope an Senior AM helps investigate.

Go in your Aion folder. there should be a chatlog txt file.
It logs trades aswell and it also logs when a trade is complete,

Might take some time tho cuz that file is prolly huge

 

What a lame thing to do :\

But atleast you learn something from it, hard to trust people sometimes and its rare to find people you can.

Hope you either get it back or get some justice hun.

 

Yeah, it might sound post-ist but I try to trade with members on the forums who have a higher post count rather than in game sellers/buyers when it comes to mast items, or credits. ;(

 

Yeah but so far the players are the one who's been giving me the most help instead of the GMs. And oh my chat log is weird. it only shows chat log last 10 / 25 / 2010. That' the last day I played GAion or maybe I opened the wrong one?

That's how I got my items recovered when I lost them quite some time ago. Only took about a day for Kevster to investigate and spawn my items back.

There should only be one file named "chat.log" and i checked it with mine, and mine goes back like 1 month lol

 

Thank you. So far a user named Lucent's been helping me out. I posted a message on Zoda and Bryne's profile. Ima try Kev this time.

 

Just as a heads up I think Kev is against recovering scammed items, Bryne might be your best bet, but in any case hopefully the scammer will be banned if they consider your evidence to be enough. At least they can see the item in his inventory as a semi-verification but any extra proof you can try to dig up helps.

 

I'd be fine even if my item rots together w/ the banned account as long as the scammer gets IP banned. And oh my chat log only shows the last day before I uninstalled the game which was at 10/25/2010.

 

Its been a day and still nothing's been done. The guy's still ingame, running free w/ my Mast sword. gosh =/
