Select Server Freez

Hello there, just to inform you that i'm an old player who couldn't play aion anymore because of the upgrade to 2.1, i took 1.9's client files from a friend on his Ipod. (And that's due to the real bad connection in my region that forbids me from downloading big files.)
And now that he've downloaded aion 2.7 for me again and i took it's files, i could connect to some servers but couldn't open map and such, so i downgraded to 2.6...And 1 day after, 2.7 was out..and today i system restored my PC to get back 2.7 files, and i did...But now everytime i try to log in, at the Select Server screen, the aion connection freez and not the game, animation's still moving.
Is there any way to fix this problem without touching NCsoft launcher ? (I tried to install NCsoft launcher, but it says that Aion is not installed because i copy pasted it's client files.)
With 2.6, everything worked out fine, no freez. With 2.7, it freezes and not only with GameZ, with other 2.7 Private Servers too. (I played GameZ yesterday when it was 2.6 and got my ranger to 49 >.>, i really need to fix this problem without NCsoft or reinstalling the client or redownloading it, cause i really can't.)

its because system restore does not restore manually overwritten files (such as your downgrade). your client is still downgraded to 2.6 and thats why u cant connect to 2.7 servers

get the 2.7 files from ur friend again or repair ur client to 2.7

Okay it seems like my friend is out of town, and he's gone be few weeks offline. As i see, the downgrade from 2.7 to 2.6 made me change some specific files and not all the client. The files are : L10N (1_enu > data > data.pak ), Data (World > world.pak, and USA > quest > quest.pak), bin32 (game.dll, ScriptDLL.dll, crysystem.dll, XRenderD3D9.dll, aion.bin, Cry3DEngine.dll, CryPhysics.dll, CryAnimation.dll, CryMovie.dll, CryEntitySystem.dll, CryFont.dll, CrySoundSystem.dll, TextEngine.dll, CryScriptSystem.dll, SendLongClient.exe, bin32.pak, CryInput.dll, vssver2.scc, bin32.pak.sig)

These were the files required to downgrade from 2.7 to 2.6, but now that i want to upgrade again (Since i can't use NCsoft), could there be a way to upload those files for me to download them and replace them again? would that work to get my aion client back to 2.7 ?

 

yeah but think repairing to 2.7 might be faster than me uploading 60mb file at 20kb/sec

 

Oh hell no , i already said that i can't use NCsoft nor get the client files back =/ (NCsoft doesn't work since i've copy pasted the client files, and my friend is out of town )
So would it be too much if i ask those files to be uploaded for me and pasted me the link to download them ?

 

u know u could have said that earlier

ncsoft DOES work even when u copy paste, u just have to link the client right

start ur ncsoft launcher, right click aion -> properties -> browse and locate the aion.bin in the bin32 folder of ur game. then u can update/repair as much as u like

anyways uploading but will take forever

Yes i tried that before, locating the bin32 file in the ncsoft launcher, but when it said installing.., i thought it ignored the files already there and tending to download all the client again ..so i didn't risk it, and i don't want to haha..i'd rather sticking on the file you're uploading atm^^, and thank you very, very much

 

nah it already knows all the files in the folder, compares them to whats on the server and replaces those that are different

Ok this have gone really confusing. After i replaced the 2.7 files, i thought everything would be ready, but when i tried to enter..it says that i have to update my directx to higher than june 2008, which i read a thread about this problem in which you gave a link to the directx 2010, and i downloaded it..but problem stood as it is..but then i used the InfiniteAion Launcher as it checks and repairs everytime you try to login, and it says that my bin file needs a repair, and when it was extracting the repaired downloaded files it says:"access to bin32/ijl15.dll is denied (and i close the repair cause it freezed), and when i tried to login..this: "AION GameClient OTCBuildClient32_wOGG was encoutered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience".

Then i connected my NCsoft to my client..and clicked repair..and it repaired 13 files, thought everything would be repaired, but then it shows me that it was updating my L10N file to 2.0.0.3 or something like that, not 2.7..i canceled it directly cause the file was a .pak (84mb, forgot it's name.)
Then i used InfiniteLauncher again, said that i need to repair again...Yet again, the ijl15.dll file was denied to be accessed.
any solution =/ ?
