i am running aion in 3.5.0.7 without any problem

probably it will need a downgrade

Solved it.

The problem was that there was another file than items.pak in the folder AION\AionEU\Data\Items (NOT USA, the other Items folder).
Deleted it and everything looks to be ok!

about CPU Usage

i've noticed some frequent send log disconnections wherein even after clicking my character it goes directly to send log error. That very moment as well i noticed a huge spikes with my cpu usage. 5 - 50%+ (auto detect default graphic engine - all max). I already repaired my client and even updated to the latest retail version. Not sure what's causing it though

Specs:

Operating System: Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit
Processor: AMD A10-5800K APU with Radeon(tm) HD Graphics (4 CPUs), ~3.8GHz
DirectX Version: DirectX 11
Vcard: AMD Radeon HD 7700 Series - Driver Version: 8.982.0.0
RAM: 4gb - (will be upgrading it to 8gb next week)
* Havent OC it yet.

There is something that is running on the background on your computer. Try to do a clean boot or boot your computer on safe mode with networking and try to play Aion.

 

if you mean clicking at login screen, the char is stuck xd send log is common on private servers, especially in certain areas (like siels spear quest)

 

send log error is fine though..it's just annoying at some point... its like a 3 week old desktop havent installed that much programs yet aside from aion and guildwars 2..

 

Is the CPU usage hitting 50% without any open applications?

 

Just when i'm playing AION. its all good with the other apps

 

well check task manager processes list, sort by CPU usage, see if its aion or something else thats a problem

 

lol i saw online someone overclock that cpu to 7.87 GHz

 

a pretty stupid thing to do (tbh not sure iwanna believe that number). ud have to cool it with liquid nitrogen which really just kills the lifetime of the processor

u dont even have anything to gain from it. it stops being the bottleneck really fast

yep its the only app that eat much of the cpu usage %.

 

i dont trust auto detect in applications xD when skyrim did that i ended up with 10 fps lol. i heard some people say they got fewer send logs when they upgraded their ram (aion is ridiculously RAM hungry) so ull see if that helps when u get urs

 

I hope Smartik can remote access your computer so he can fix ur client. Or else you need to reinstall it

All of the programs are set to normal I think but if you having problems set it to bellow normal or something :\

I got quad core i7 and I can run darksiders 2 assassins creed 3 , war of immortals, css imvu, dota and tera and my cpu is like 30-40%
