Serious question about the database, data, etc

    I'm not here to flame or blame anyone. It's IT and sht happens, we all know that.

    Fact is, data storage is the whole foundation of an online game. After yesterday's incident is the problem fixed? Can we play without having to worry about the data getting lost or rolled back?
    Is it "safe" for me to be afk doing some life skill?

    It's known that if you get DC'd without logging off prior to a server down, you'll lose some unsaved data. It's everywhere. However, we are in 2017. There should be a DLP in the server in case something unexpected like what happened last night happens again.

    That is not entirely true though. Restarts usually happen overnight for me and I rarely get rolled back.
