Server Suggestion

Why are these people still posting in Gamez? They apparantly resigned and left for ********, they must be bored sitting there waiting for the server to come up, nyerk off.

 

I think you should, and it's a good idea. It would also give me the option of getting better names for new characters

no but seriously chlora is a cool guy and as long as he's not supporting advertisers as he has done in the past, there's no reason he can't view our forums every now and then if he chooses

And .... I do not support. Working usually over seas, I can only play during holidays; however ihave already donated like 100 something dollars. Therefore I do not believe that it would be fair for those who donated but busy in real life. Personally I play merely because of the graphics lol . This is just my own idea. yeah deleting inactive accounts would be a good idea for leser ping

somethings soons good but the real probleem is to realize this.
I have seen how the database probaly look form a test server i have on own PC.
And must say that is a mess i have there already hard time to find stuff for own char.

There are seprate files with items and skills quest and so on.
If you clean those yes the server will be lot faster but there is always the probleem of finding correct stuff together.

Lol, it seems you guys are twisting my point, and some are just blatantly said idiots. What I'm suggesting is for every account that has >NOT< been accessed over 90 days, should be deleted, along with their characters, items and everything. 90 days is a looong time. And, I actually doubt someone would come back after 3 months. All it takes for someone to keep everything they owe in the server is to log in once in 3 months. Of course, you don't do it without advising people. Run the mass-mail function on forums and enlighten everyone about this, and start with the wiping every 3 months as of 1 November. Also, hitkill. MySQL is a great thing, and the scripts you can run with it are even better. If you know how to work it, you can easily wipe the accounts, and all the data along with it. Without messing up anything. Dementa, wiping accounts and leaving characters is just stupid. What would you gain by that? Everyone can remake accounts, yaay. But, their characters will be void, existing but not able to be accessed, names not be able to be used, and so on. Either you wipe it completely or you don't wipe it at all. Chlora's idea is cute too.

 

his idea is sexy ;o. most of you haven't even been here for 3 months let alone inactive. so i think its a great idea since its clear if you've been that inactive you won't be coming back. although chlora is right in adding an option to reactivate the account, but thats more for huge population servers that will last a long time, and meh, gamez is not in that situation

 

So guys whens the official of it? OF wiping the account just today ,this hours?!
