    Although offtopic: the only way your PC setup could affect your ping is if you have a separate on-board NIC specifically for gaming. (E.G: Killer 2100)

    TL;DR: You could have a supercomputer at your house, but your ping would be the exact same.

    Oh, even if your PC is high-tech now, what you have currently will be 1/10th of the price, and it will be considered low-tech in 3-5 years.
